Any way to get rid of beavers, beside hollow point lead poisining? When this first happened we called the state and they came out and set traps but the beavers kept springing them and filling them with crap. They keep plugging the spill pipe on our pond.Wondered if any body has any experience in getting rid of them.

Dynamite works pretty good. Blow their home up so they will go else where.

Beaver are good when BBQ'd. If you get the chance, shoot one and put on the grill.

Arkansas has a bounty on them, seems like 15 or 20 $$.

Your problem with beavers may be bigger than my idea of a fix, but I've heard that if you pee on trees you are particularly concerned about, the beavers leave them alone. An aquaitence was losing trees around his cabin, so every morning he'd take his biggest cup of coffee for a walk and water his favorite trees. He said it worked like a charm. I guess we smell like a big predetor to them. Good luck. -JJ

Im in Md.and the spill pipe isnt the only problem, theyre knocking down all the trees around the pond. The DNR here said there was nothing else they could do and if we killed them we would have to call them so they could have the pelts.

How you tried putting up some woven wire around your spill pipe so they can't get to it to plug it?.

Had them on family"s golf course and someone called a fur guy and he came out and trapped them and gave us like $50? or so bucks for each. They were some big A** beavers though. Just call a trapper or fur seller and they would be more than happy probably. Al
