Sorry for a stupid question, and probably I'm on the wrong forum. That being said most always you folks can point me in the correct direction at least.I have heard that a billion seconds ago it was like 1953, and a billion min. ago The good Lord walked this earth. And a mans heart beats approx two billion times before he dies. I have heard all this at the local coffee shop, and we all feel in this town if you hear it two times in the coffee shop it has to be a fact. So you all understand my mom and dad were brothers and sisters, that is not that uncomon in my home town. I have problems balancing my check book, and I am pretty sure I do not have enough fingers and toes to count to a trillion. My question is if a person had a billion dollars, how many times could you circle the earth / go to the moon etc. if laid end to end. I certianly do not need that exact awnser, just a way to try to understand what our national debt is? Sorry, I do not prefer any political remarks, and I know both sides could crack them out for say a billion times. So please bite your lips in this regard. I'm sure there is a web site for all these comparisons, just hard for a red neck to find it. Thanks in advance. NE IA Dave
