Allen,

Will a Swartz wide front off of a Farmall 560 fit a Farmall M?

The rear mount is the only part that is different. The mount is 2" shorter on the M. You can space it with washers make a spacer plate.

Front end will fit, might need a different steering arm. The main bolster bolt pattern is the same for H thru 1456, steering arm pattern is different.

My Schwartz wide front came off a 450 and bolted right on to my H with zero modification to the main mount. Had to slot the holes in the steering arm so it would fit, though...

Yes it will. The M tru 1456 all have the same mounting bolt pattern. The H, SH, 300, 350 have a differant bolt pattern but most swartz wide fronts are drilled with both bolt patterns.

Yeah, I think it will Kirk.

You're really gonna like that dude. Turns way shorter than the original IH did.

I hate to disagree with Allan but No it won't fit with out a torch and a welder.

The mount holes for the front mount are at a different level on 560 than a M.

Well, that's a bummer. Won't go, huh?

Are you talking about those four main mounting locations?

Yes I am talking the 4 bolts.

An IH front from a 560 would not fit on my MTA unless I would space down with a bushing or a bunch of washers.

The bolt pattern is right but the height is not.

Now maybe a schwart would fit because they are open in the front but I don't think so.

Yeah, I've ran into that issue too.

I used thick-walled pipe.
