Finally got my paws on a couple cans of the stuff. It's got some pretty strong testimonials with it, but I've gotta try it out to see how well it works. I know some of you folks swear by some other fluid, but I'm gonna give this stuff a chance. It's expensive and darn hard to come by, so I bet it works great! : )

We use Aero Kroil where I work now. It works pretty well but not good enough to get old manifold bolts unstuck.
Used some stuff called Breakaway where I used to work and it did a good job as well.

At the machine development area I worked, cost was not a concern, and this stuff is/was as available as water. I tried it on a few rusted items and it appeared to be a little better than the cheaper stuff I use at home, but far from being magic. Wasn't impressed enough to have it at home.

It's probably the same stuff. It's made by Kano Laboraties so you know that AeroKroil and KanoKroil are related.

It's the best I've used. Better keep it hid or it will grow legs and leave. :)

We have this product at the airline I work for. This stuff works best on sealed bearings and the like to free them up when stuck. However, it will destroy teflon seals by swelling them up.

I have used it to loosen corroded parts, as in where pins are "frozen" in the bushings with great success. I have not used it to free rusted bolts. I would think it would work on that though.
