A few years back a neighbor had a brush hog type mower that had four blades instead of the usual two.He used it to cut small cedar up to about four inches in diameter. It did a great job on cutting brush,he has since passed away and I never did get a chance to find out where he got it.Does anyone know who manufactures any of these type mowers that hooks up to a three point hitch?

Most likely a "Brown Tree Cutter".
Built in Ozark Alabama.
Just Google - brown tree cutter. Frank

Are you refering to a "stalk shredding attachment" which is two blades on each side attached by same blade bolt? If so I know Servis AKA Rhino made them. Tx Jim

No, this mower had four blades with seperate bolts such as at 12 o'clock,3,6,and 9. It als seemed that it had a gear box that spun the blade at a higher RPM than a normal mower.
