I'm not familiar with this Tractor but I asume it is a small one and does not come equipped with a Turbo Charger. If it was so equipped I would have the turbo seals checked. One of my turbo equipped engines had a bad Seal and it near filled the crankcase with raw Diesel Fuel.See Ya'John

How much fuel in the oil? How does it run? do you have any white or grey smoke? You could have anything from a compression problem on one or more cylinders to a bad thermostat to several items in between. I also sent you an e-mail. J.

no smoke, runs great, good power, seems like a small amount of fuel in oil, based on smell, consistency.

If the engine is equipped with a mechanical fuel transfer (lift) pump, remove it and test for leaks. A punctured diaphragm will sometimes allow fuel to leak into the crankcase.

Good luck,
Scott

seal in injector pump drive is out or if you have a fuel pump on it that has a leak. if it runs right it's not the injectors. it's the fuel pump [if] it has one other wise it's the injector pump seal

Injectors are leaking during shut down period. Fix injectors before the bearings and cylinder walls are scrap.
