Yes, I'd see that getting the differential section, but the hubs aren't vented. Those things are worked to death under loaders. For the most part, the ZF units were pretty tough, but I've seen more than enough misery from a Carraro unit on one of our tractors. It just had an air of unpredictability. It would drop a bolt head off the ring gear at just about any time, lock the planetary, break the ring for sure, and depending on how much force was behind it, would break one or 2 planets, and sometimes the carrier. Drop a grand in it like nothing, sometimes more, plus a few hours work. That particular axle had undersized bolts, and if they were under torqued would back off, and even slightly overtorqued would break off. Loctite 262 was gospel with that thing. It was just underbuilt for the tractor. However, regardless of the paint color, loaders are hard on axles. Just hard hard hard. They kill steering joints, king pins, and the entire front driveline because so much of the drive is taken through the front. Rod
