That calf could have been just 2 weeks early, especially on a heifer. I yearly get calves that much early, and I know when the bull gets put in, so I would bet that they were bred to start 3/12. I'm glad all is well. I'm supposed to start calving heifers on the 10th and cows on the 20th, so everyday I'm expecting to find one, but so far nope.

Looks good Gary. We're done calving, had good luck didn't lose a one. Only had to bring one in and warm it up. Jim

What did you have to give for your bred heifers, I will be buying 2-3 this spring and am kinda wondering what they are going for, or I will be buying bred cows, gonna be looking for angus, simmental, or them with a cross. Nice looking pair,

Dave

I bought 5 in Dec. and gave $1100 for them.

There pretty good breeding and in good condition.

I buy 5 to 10 every year to maintain the herd.
