There was an auction today in Carroll, IA. I was in attendance and took a few notes:

Successful sales:
John Deere 4020 (gas, ROPS canopy, bad PTO) $2400
John Deere 4020 (diesel, no cab) $6600
John Deere 4430 (diesel) $12,800
John Deere 4630 $8900
International 856 (gas,cab,loader) $5600
International 1586 (rough,sold as-is) $2350
International 5488 (diesel,FWA,duals) $21000
Case 1175 $3600
Case 2680 $3500
White 2-105 (diesel, turbo) $6400

Non-tractors:
John Deere 4400 combine $1800
Rem 2100 grain vac $8000
John Deere 8200 drill $900
Brent 540 wagon $5300

Of course there was other stuff that didn't sell, but I don't think those prices are relevant. There was a lot of other stuff too, but I was mostly focusing on tractors. It seemed to be a somewhat smaller in terms of number of consignments and turnout, and that may be reflected in these prices.

You could have drove the 4020's over here and made pretty good money. Every one needs one here to break thier garden. Toss in a 4 bottom plow, 10' disk, and a 10' bush hog as a package and they will love you for it.

Do you recall what the 8630 brought?

I"m thinking that was nearly the very last item sold. Probably the one tractor I didn"t watch. But it looked really good, and it seemed that the newer, good-looking tractors consistently didn"t sell--except for the 9420.
