What would spring wheat and winter wheat be worth right now a bushel. I have one freind that has the wheat, was harvested a bit late, ok but not the BEST quality. My relative is willing to buy it for feeding his beef cattle and he told me to let him know what it is worth. I'm the middle man here and do not want a cut. I just want to know what is a fair price for buyer and seller.

Chicago wheat is 4.66 this morning.

I would think the local price is at least 40 cents under that.

You take it from there.

Should have said that 4.66 is HR Wheat.

Soft wheat is 3.95 Chicago.

We are bidding $4.32 for new crop wheat. I would guess that feed grade wheat would be worth about $3.32 if it doesn't have vomitoxin in it. If it has vomitoxin it is worthless for anything but burning or burying.

Down under, here in New Zealand buyers are going round farms franticly trying to buy non contracted wheat. I have heard from friends in England that they have been offered 84 pounds sterling per ton for wheat for the 2007 harvest straight off the combine, thats up by about 20 pounds per ton on previous years.
