Well Fellas, strange one for me, I drained my 1944A slant dash last fall. Decided to fill it up tonight and much to my surprise it was running out as fast as my hose was putting it in. I pulled the front grill pieces off and walla. The entire front middle section of the lower tank was sitting in the bottom of the tractor frame. What in the world would cause that?? I did notice several large pieces of rust, almost like thin layers of the same piece that were broken off inside the tank that were up against the water pipe. Obviously an issue for water flow but could the tank have not drained and frozen or does this happen when these tanks get old and fatigued, rusted and thin over the years and they just break?? IF any of you all have a lower tank and a core I need to buy one. Or if you all know where I might find one that would be good as well. I am afraid this radiator might come apart in pieces when I try to remove it. IT is very rotten looking, at least 1/3 of the fins across the sides and top are gone adn down to the actual core lines. thanks in advance, robert
