I can buy a Deere 5303 or a Farmtrac 665 for nearly the exact same price. The 665 is 500 lb heavier, a bit longer wheelbase, bigger engine, no turbo, a little less advertised hp; The deere dealer is closer; Both seem quite adequate. Opinions??

If you have ever operated a 2WD and a 4WD tractor in the same conditons with the same load. You will forget all about purchasing a 2WD. Try pricing a 5105 M4WD or wish you had. Depends if you want a bargain or something that you want? The 5105 does roll off a US production line. Not that that alone makes it a good tractor..... ....

IF you pick that Chinese tractor over a Deere that is at least 85% built in the USA, you deserve to be shipped to china with the next shipment of steel.

And there is little if anything on the John Deere that was "built in America" besides the dealer sticker.

I thought the Farmtrac was built in Tarboro, North Carolina , the old Ford plant. Serial # plate says ...tarboro,N.C.
