Since it was cold out today the ground was froze some this would be perfect to do some plowing. Got the Oliver 1655 out of the shed and hitched up the plow and decided I go after dinner when I was done eating. Got the plow to make some noise today when in the ground. The 1655 drink more gas then usual and snorted more. That was some tuff plowing and going out to night after milking to get caught up on this plowing that I was going to do in fall.

Stay warm everbody

Don't forget, Al Snore calls it global climate change-that way anything that looks out of the norm fits his description! Didn't forget who 'invented the internet' did you? He is in need of another great invention, I guess. You should see my rhubarb plants-they were looking GOOD, about 6" tall and huge leaves! Now they look like they are dead-maybe Al can send me some when I get the hankering! Greg

Must be why it was the most frozen over in 50 years during the winter of 2003-2004. If the lake level is low the temp tends to rise. Dumping water from lake Michigan into the Mississippi to keep it's level up is a major cause.

I was considering getting the A/C unit checked an ready just last week. So much for that dip $hit al gore and his global warming huh?

I could be way out here. BTW man those plants. I don't know how many gardens and trees got smacked with this freeze East of the Rio Grande but let me tell you many. It could be simple as summer gas for winter. The blends. One could spray WD-40 around the intake manifold-Not too much-to check for burnt out intake seal there. If you wer to find it at one port, then what?Be very careful if you only want to seal one without doing the bank. Certain permatex and stuff will get sucked right in and coat the valve stem and then you get a burnt valve.
