Another great day here. Getting ready for our annual plowing day. expecting over 40 tractors to be here on Saturday to plow 80 acres. Have an extra 40 ready if the boys get to agressive. Last year Took only 3 1/2 hours last year to do 82 acres. 42 different tractors plowed. Have a '37 A and a '51 A hooked up and ready as well as a Silver King, MH 33 and a MF 85. Might even pull the CC Case out of retirement. Do any of you attend plowing days anywhere and what do they do unique? This is our 13th year

ramblineagle, I'm 5 miles south of the Wapsi. I just learned about the one west of Maquoketa. Tractor weights too much for dads trailer to go to Maqouketa.

NEIADAn, Where are you located? Some where between Davenport and Dubuque? If you are?! that plow day has been moved back... again! to the 28th! Missed last year due to health reasons, otherwise would have been my 8th year. Post back when you can.

I'm pretty sure our day has not been rescheduled. We are 10 miles north of Oelwein, IA. One of the fields is 50 feet from my house. Others across the road.

I wish gas wasn't so high, I'd put the tractor and plow on the trailer and come up your way and play. There is supposed to be one 10 miles north of Davenport this weekend but it has been pushed back to the 28th. Ironically this field is also 80-85 acres but it is right on the Wapsi river and the water is still pretty high. Have fun, wish I could join you.
