Farm Bureau covered everything from show tractors to parts tractors after a tornano in August. All under home owners ins.

Mine are covered by my home owners insurance here at home and at any show I take them to. On the trailer my auto insurance covers them. This per my agents letters.

Thats what my agent told me too. If they're at a show for exhibition, my home owners will cover them. and the same with them when they're on the trailer, covered by my truck ins.

When I checked with my Insurance Agent I found out that only the trailer is covered under the towing vehicles insurance, not the cargo. I ended up getting coverage for my trailer as well, which covers the tractors on it while in transit and in the unfortunate event that one falls off during an accident and hits another vehicle or if they or the trailer get damaged in a collision. Was fairly inexpensive at about $68 a year. I don"t know but maybe insurance coverages differ by state. Might be worth the phone call to be sure.

If it is used for show only then check with your own Ins. co. They should have a good policy that will cover it.

Also check your liability. Off site might not be covered by homeowners

So if something happens to it, it is not a total loss. Some restored tractors have a lot of money invested in them.

I just took out insurance policy on all my tractors and assigned a value to all of them. this is the agreed value so the premium is based on that value. Insurance covers the tractors anywhere and anytime whether its on the trailer, at the show or event or stored in one of several locations. Coverage is for fire, theft, and vandalism. There is also a underinsured motorist part coverage as well. This policy was through Hagerty Insurance and purchased thru my local agent. The premiums I felt were very reasonable. Can't afford to be without insurance these days I can tell you from experience!!!
