What does everyone think of farming 800-1000 acres with one of these every years. I"m in the works of getting that much dryland (SEWY) rented and need a good cheap large tractor and I found a really clean well kept one with dang near new tires, pto, and a egging cab for 5500.

That is a fairly old tractor. It would be good to have a standby. I bought one a few years back. first thing it needed was a trans input shaft seal. That was quite a job. Next year the rear axle pulled out fron the final drive. Another big job. I still have mine. It is a fairly powerful tractor. If you but the tractor it may turn out ok. It would probably do what you wanted if it didn't brake down. Stan
