I took a lot of photos of the Vermontville, MI annual "Maple Syrup Festival" yesterday, and I saw a huge number of restored tractors on parade. John Deere, Allis Chalmers, and Farmall were the marques I recognized, but there were a few I did not, such as a bright red streamlined number - looked like a rocket!

Anyway, I've put the photos of the parade, including classic cars and trucks, as well as the tractors, online and I wanted to share them with folks who might enjoy seeing them.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

The one you talked about being streamlined is a Case orchard model. I am not sure of the model.

Bright red Case? Never seen one before. A Cockshutt popped into my mind when he said red and streamlined. They've got some smooth lines. 'Course a Farmall Orchard would fit that description too.

Perhaps I am mistaken on the color. I am color-blind. Hopefully I have not misrepresented the tractor. It looks bright red to me.

Bill, do you guys do any tractor drives? We haven't had any just yet down here in south central Illinois, but weather permitting, our first one will be in two weeks. The last one we had back in September, we had 77 tractors, and covered 42 miles on a saturday.

I"m sorry to say that I was just a participant in the parade, and I enjoy the old tractors very much. So I don"t know about the tractor drives. Good luck with yours!
