I suppose you really want some where about 165,000 seed per acre, then you want the corn rate for 33,000 seed per acre. I don't have the book in the house (same as 7000 often on epay) but as I recall that would be 14 driver 11 driven if 2040 chain or 28 driver 22 driven in 40 chain or sprockets. With 7.60-15 drive tires. 11:11 gives 26100 corn, so 14:11 gives 33,218 corn or 165,091 beans. And if the bean count 3000 per pound that's 55 pounds per acre. Oh, that's 30" rows. 15" rows you want to slow it down by 2, going to 11 driver 14 driven, or something like that. Figuring closer 9 driver 14 driven gives 33557 on 15" rows of corn or 167,786 beans. 8 driver 13 driven gives 160,615, 9 driver 13 driven 180,692. If 3000 per pound that last rate is 60.23 pounds per acre, if 2500 per pound that is 72 pounds per acre. I find the Kinze units count precisely. Gerald J.
