A while back, some on here were bragging about Sea Foam, so I decided to try some in my Mercury Cougar car which was running rough (233,000 miles and new plugs and wires didn't help the roughness).

I normally don't go for snake oil of any type - but that smoothed my car right out!

I was impressed enough to try two more cans in my old '94 F-250. A couple of years ago the front tank fuel pump failed on it - instead of replacing with a new pump, I pulled the tank from my junked out '92 F250 and stuck it under the '94. The gas in it was so stale, it barely ran at first AND the fuel gauge didn't work in it.

After these couple of years, the gauge never has worked, until yesterday when I put a can of Sea Foam in there - the guage started working while hauling a tractor home this afternoon!

I don't know what Sea Foam has in it - but it sure CAN help some problems!

Howard

Really good stuff, use as directed. I always use in outboard boat motors.

Be careful in newer type vehicles as it will mess up the oxygen sensors, had this happen.

I've heard of this before, but never knew what it was. Where can this stuff be bought?

Around here (TX panhandle), I haven't been able to find it at Walmart, but Autozone carries it...

$7 per can...

Most auto parts places, Wally world, etc. I "think" about $7-$8 per can.

I bought a 77 chevy a few years ago for scrap price. It had been setting for about 5 years. The guy who pulled it out of the barn but new plugs, wires, and such on it but it would barly pull it's self. 5 gallons of gas, a can of sea foam, and a few trips up and down the road it is a tobacco wagon pulling son of a gun. Do not use much of the snake oils myself but tried that and it worked out well.
