This weekend my family and I are visiting relatives in Seattle. Beginning Monday morning we plan on spending a week viewing the scenery from here to northern Oregon. Any fellow YT'ers in this neck of the woods? It would be nice to meet up with some of you.

Glen, I'm just about 70 miles south of Portland off 99W would like to sit an chat it would be something else other than working on haying equipment and getting the years hay in.
I have yard full of equipment right now none of which is new.

Glenn We have a son that lives in Tacoma, Wa. We made the drive from here in West TX to there a few years back. Wish we would have had more time, it is pretty country. Enjoy your trip.

Gary

Hi Glenn! Welcome to the Great North West! I live in Renton which is just south of Seattle. Drop me an e-mail and maybe we can hook up. Too bad you are not a couple weeks later as our club North West Vintage Iron's show is July 14-15.

Glenn,
Go up and see Puget Sound Tractor and Machinery's pull if you can! I didn't realize they had an event this weekend. These guys have the greatest show grounds around! Its an old farmstead turned into a park. Lots of show buildings with old equipment etc. Large sawmill, steam power, many old machines. I have been to shows there and had a great time!Plan on bringing my Allis WF up to their show in August.
Beautiful drive and a chance to see Washington dairy farm country. I was up that way early this week working and just enjoyed the drive thru the country. Drive back on side roads if you have the time and enjoy the country. Go into Lynden and see the windmills! Done up in a Dutch theme, its a neat town. Drive all the way thru downtown then take Hannegan Road south back to Bellingham. Or go east on Badger Rd. to hiway 9 and come back to Seattle on the old road. Nice drive thru the country.

Our Puget Sound Tractor and Machinery Club is having a tractor Pull tomorrow (Sat the 30th) at Lynden Wa which is north of Seattle about 110 miles. Lots of antique stuff at our show grounds and a pretty drive up to the far northwest corner of the U.S. You could even step your feet into Canada for a brief visit if you like. Give me a call if you like and I'll show you around before or after the pull. 360-410-2677 Migraine
