i need to load a kubota b5200d tractor for a lady. what is the proper procedure for starting this tractor?

lets see here i would have to guess push in the clutch turn the key to the left to heat the plugs for ten seconds now dont take me for my word i am just guessing now then turn the key to the right the tractor should start just like any other diesel remember i am just guessin i am not sure just guessin so dont take for my word ah i am sorry but that is the way u start i just had to mess around a little bit

If it is like any of the Kubotas that I have run you will need to pre-heat the hell out of it with the glow plugs. Those Kubotas need glow plugs to start even at 80*F.

I must have got the only three that don"t need the glow plugs then, my feed tractor starts at below zero not pluged in and doesn"t even hesitate.

Think I agree with Luke. I the summer I don't even use then - starts after a second or two. In the winter when it's really really cold I need them but it starts right up and smokes for a few seconds then clears and I'm ready to go. Have a BX2200

My dad's old 966 would sit their for a few minuted smoking like mad untill it cleared then it was ready to go.

The trick is to make sure you've got good batteries charged up. Week batteries and you'll have problems.

My M4700 doesn't even smoke at all. When it is zero or below I hold the glow plugs for 10 or 20 seconds and it fires off the same as it would if it was 80, with no smoke. It doesn't even have a block heater.
