I purchased an eight foot tandem TAYLOR or TAYLORWAY disc. How much will it weight?

I have a light weight Ford 3pt boom that is rated for about 550# on the 8,9, or 2n Fords. I used it to pick up each half separately. I did not lift with it attached to the end of the boom because I did not want it to break. But I could not lift it as high as I needed to either.
Thank you SDE

Don't know how much it weighs, but if it is a Taylor way I am guessing it is fairly heavy. Dad had a set of them years ago and they were good disc.. I think they are more disk than the 8n will handle.

George, the boom was for a Ford. I have a 400 Farmall. I did not want to wreck the boom by hooking it to the end and I could not lift it high enough with it hooked up short.

Breaking things can be a bad habit.
