The way the weather has been in North Central Ne Im thinking it might be a wise investment to get a dozer blade. When Im not using it I can make a bale fork to go on the front so I can haul 3 bales with the haybuster. Any way Im not real fimaliar with them so what is the best or most liked? My dad had a leon, but It kinda mounts on the axles if I remember right...not real crazy about that. Waldons look like a pain in the butt to put on where they go around the front tires, plus would mud, and manure pack up in there? Deere and deglemans are popular but there for deeres I think and this is going on a 5088 IH, of course you can make brackets I guess.

Any way just thought Id pick everybodys brains!

Thanks
Gary

There is a dealer in Bassett Ne that bought out Waldons I guess. They proably got about a dozen blades that are still new...or should I say O hours on them. Just in case anybody else needs one.

Hey there, We use an Waldon, with no troubles and almost no cost. Because of the wrap around design they are cheaper then anything and not that bad to mount if you break all the pieces apart and do it one at a time.....Degleman is a strong machine as is Leon. Here a few people have changed the front axle mount to a frame mount with a pivoting shaft, that makes Leon a better outfit. Grouser looks like the real deal, the only draw back is dollars. Look around, then buy what you like, they all seem good.

grouser makes a top-notch one. Same co. that makes steel track for skidsteers. I think Diggleman makes one too. They are more popular in Canada than USA.

I have a 12 ft Degelman and it is excellent, comes on or off in 5 minutes, but it was a bit pricey.
