I have a set of vinyl cut decals here but no instructions for application came with them. I have applied the older style mylar decals where you use Windex and can place them easily and then adjust for location or whatever problems you encounter. With the vinyl cut, it seems that they are less forgiving and once they are in place then that's it. Does anyone have a set of instructions they could put there that a guy could follow. It seems that you just have one shot at correct placement, is that correct?

I just take a straight edge and line up the location then put a pencil mark on either at each end or all along. Then cut the decals to one line, instead of the whole thing to deal with like a sign. Hold taught and put the edge on the lines. Then start from the middle and work it out to the ends. If real wide then work from center. If you just let it touch it will forgive you a bit rather than pressing it on in the beginning. Sorry it's so long.

You can tape them in place with masking tape, along one edge, generally the top. Then once you are happy with the location you lift it up and remove the backing from the tape side and work away. The tape keeps it straight, and you smooth it out slowly from the taped edge to the other. Works ok.
God Bless,
