Being a machinist I have an inside track to some companies, and there is one that is pretty close to me that sells and manufactures plastics & plastic products. I called thm up looking for some 1/8"x8 1/2"x 9' poly to line the spout of the chopper with. hey don't have 9', but they do have 4'x8' sheets, and they'll cut the 8 1/2 width for me. I get the whole 4x8' sheet plus the one cut for $50! I'm already planning on using some to line the hopper under the auger on our old Fox blower I'm fixing up right now. The blower band let go on it 2 years ago, but being that we had a secons blower we just swapped blowers and kept going. It's still a good blower though, evn if it's old, it's nice to have both blowers set up on our 2 silos so we can just swap the tractor over and keep filling while doing corn. Hopefully, with any kind of luck, I can get the spout repaired on the Fox 3000, and the old Fox blower fixed up and put back in it's place on the small silo. Then the Kools blower can go back onto the bigger silo, and be used for straw also. Donovan from Wisconsin
