Can anyone tell me where I can find the value for a Ford 8N tractor?? I believe it to be around a 1949, 6 volt battery, 4-cyl., gas, 3-speed, but really don"t know for sure. Also, what HP would this be? Thanking you in advance!

Well as Gerald said its not an 8N becuase of the 3 speed tranny. As far as what its worth that depends on a lot of things like how good or bad the tires are. How well it runs if it runs. If it runs if it smokes and what it looks like as far as the sheet metal. One that doesn't run and has bad tires and is ugly will go for $150-500. One that runs well and has good tires and looks good can bring in around $2000-3500

Its not an 8N if its three speed. Three speed fords were the 9N and 2N made before 1948.

All of the N series are about 21 HP, but underpowered and too light for their potential tasks and over valued in today's market place. A toy tractor.

The 9N and 2N also had a steering gear very hard on arms as it kicked when encountering clods and furrows in the field. The 8N used a ball work which saved many arms.
