after three years i have my super A restored. it had sat in a field for 12 years. question ? i have a # 16 middle buster and wheels spaced at 40"how do i mark off my rows. i want to have 40" rows.any help will be appreciated.

Use a piece of Re-bar to make a marker and a bracket to adjust it so it spaces the rows. 20" on each side, or so that it runs in the middle. Your choice.
Another way is to make an outrigger with a little disk on the end to turn up a land mark at 40". Old planters had many designs for switchable markers from each side to allow marking from two directions in the field. JimN
