Ooooops!

A bit of dyslexia popping up there? Usually I can blame my bifocals, but not this time. Mad!

Good job, Rod! I held back on your earlier post because I know nothing about these modules and couldn't imagine what they were doing drawing juice from the field around a plug wire to trip a relay. Also, I had no idea what the Canadian regs are for when the ights must operate. In my neighbor's Chevy, for example, they only come on when he is in gear. In park, they're off. But that's in the States, even though we in Maine share borders with more Canadian provinces than we do with other states.

Wishing now I'd chimed in sooner, but it sounds like you got your answer in VERY good time from the manufacturer. A good thing!

I needed a hot wire that was only on with the ignition to trip the relay that powers the auxiliary power panel I put in my Ram. That box mounts inside the cab, and I was able to tap into the lead to the cigarete lighter (as opposed to one of the always-on power ports).
