A local farm family is suffering tremendously this week.

One of their daughter's (30 yrs. old) was reported missing last week Wed, and then she was found the next day, shot in the back of her head in a chair in a shed next to her house.

We know the family personally, as their mom is deeply involved with the dog project in 4-H and I went through it and even helped out when I was out of 4-H. The meetings always used to be held on their farm, until other leader offered their horse arenas where we weren't dependant on the weather. My brother's best friend from High School married their youngest daughter only about a year ago also.

Sad to see such a thing happen, only can pray that the killer is caught and punished, and that the family can pick up the peices.

Donovan from Wisconsin

Such a waste of the precious life of a good person!

Since our society has become "enlightened", criminals and murderers have more "rights" than the rest of us do.

In a case such as this, a public execution would be appropriate. Who knows, possibly some low life would see what happens to people who take others lives and change his ways.

Yeah, I read that one in the paper yesterday. Tragic for sure. I wonder if they have any leads yet...I didn't see anything in the newspaper today. Sounds like she was a good hard working girl. Our thoughts are with the family.

Know just what you mean Don. It's almost a daily occurance around here anymore it seems. Several years ago the neighbor womans Dad was executed by a couple of kids as he was going to his truck, for the money in his wallet. Made him get on his knees and shot him in the back of the head.

She lived here about three miles south-west of Greenville. The home farm is about four miles north-east of Greenville. No leads as of yet. Hope they catch the killer. Only problem is, that person will get a few years in jail (maybe?) and then will let out on parole and live out the rest of their life. The laws stink.

Virgil, If the one you heard about is the same one from Darlington, she just ran off because she could not handle it any more. She was about 25 and worked up in Mount Horerb at a flower shop. WHere are you from to hear about her.

It seems now days these things are happening more and more. Im so tired of seeing these killers getting less time than someone who robs a store or something. They need to hangem on the spot and do society a favor. That sure is sad to hear. I hope they get justice, but still wont get their daughter back. Sure is a shame. God be with them

That would be a horrific scene to find,I hope they find the person who ended her life and give them a speedy trial and quick eye for an eye.

Boy isn't that the thruth. Seems like it should be simple. A killer should recieve what was dealt.
