I've strengthened & reinforced, I've hammered, sawed and bolted. I've painted, washed and waxed. Even just now washed the silly frame and fuel tanks. Darnit! I'm done with my end of the preliminary preparations.

I need that silly tarp!

Please forward said tarp forthwith with the utmost of haste. I'm sick of foolin' with this old truck! :>(

Allan, you time and trouble shows. It is a great looking grain truck. I like the colors just like they are.

Thanks George,

When I get that white roll over bolted on it, should set it off just right.

Still gotta get the mud flaps on it (state law here), but that's for a rainy day. Think we're schedualed for rain in 2009. :>)

Allen, the last time I saw that much bright red paint was in that Clint Eastwood spaghetti western where he had the whole town painted red! But I gotta admit it sure makes things look cleaner and newer.

At least the back half is Farmall red and a part of the cab is Farmall white.

Say, if you have trouble keeping a finish on your floor I have a suggestion. I put two coats on my box floor and after the second load of wheat it was gone and it had dried over the winter. I painted my floor with a mixture of half and half deisel fuel and used oil. After the fiest load the oily finish is gone and you have a floor that will last quite a while and it don't cost a fortune either.

Nice job, Allan. How did you fix the tailgate? I was going to suggest 3/4 plywood.
