I recently bought a red tractor that has a Massey Ferguson 265 decal on the sides of the sheet metal, but an emblem above the grill that has the IMT of Yugoslavia logo on it. I assumed that IMT made these for Massey Ferguson, since IMT has made other MF tractors. But today I got a call from the man that I sold this tractor to, claiming that his MF dealer knows nothing about these MF 265/IMT tractors. He is worried about parts availability. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I wouldn"t know a M-F if it ran over me, but if it"s any help re" identification or parts, I"ve got a Fel-Pro gasket catalog that says the 265 came with a Perkins AG4/236, and the 265D with the AD4/236, and a Wix catalog that also shows the 265 with a third engine, the Perkins AG4/212.

Coulda been just an extra emblem some guy put on the grill just because.

here's a picture of a 255, it's about the same thing as a 265, just a little smaller engine. If it's a 265, it's not built by IMT.
