Gee, my everyday tractor is my newest, a 1990 JD 2755 with fwa and loader. A 64 JD 3020 is on the manure spreader, but in the summer I only have about 2 loads a week to spread so its not everyday. A JD 4020 and a Ford 5000 see a lot of use in the summer for haying, both 1967.

1940 Farmall M. Not a daily driver but good for pulling trailers and hay wagons.

Amish in my area still use the old steam engines from turn of the century. Stopped for 15 minutes or so last year just to watch them load a silo and make a bunch of smoke. Also seen them driving up the road with the engine and a wagon hauling logs.

In the late 90's the neighbor to my grandpa's farm was using two McCormick F-12 style tractors to run 65 acres of grain. They'd been in his family probably since they were somewhat newer. Think, even if they'd bought them when they were twenty years old they would've been using them for 40+ years at that point. His dad had farmed part-time and he took over in addition to teaching. He is a little eccentric, and is probably in his late 80's now. I don't think that he is farming now, but I believe he still has the equipment and mows with them occasionally. He was always single, and he gave the land for free to a younger family friend, keeping just the house and yard. As of 1998 he was running 65 acres with the two farmall f-12 styles, one with rubber and one with steel, an ancient 2 row planter and a pull type combine from the early 50's. He would row crop beans and his combine would plug and mess up, so he ran 1 or 2 rows at a time. He hauled all his grain to the elevator in a normal pickup truck bed, and used mounted cultivators and non raising disks. Whatever he used to have to combine corn had broken down in the mid 1980's, and Grandpa told me that he had been continous cropping soybeans for 15 years. They weren't hybrid seed beans, he'd just save some and replant the next year. He was probably getting less than 10 bushels/acre. With no inputs except fuel. Like I said, a little eccentric.

I'll bet he's got his credit cards pretty well under control and special payment arrangements with his mortgage company though! Grin.

Don't qualify, I guess.

Milk cows are all gone and there's no other reason under the sun for me to use a tractor every day. :>(

Now, the computers are a different matter. Some of these old rascals around here have been running non-stop 24-hours-a-day for years and years on end. :>)

a 1968 oliver 770 gas. It was my primary tractor for 150 acres until last year. It was also my only tractor. It is still used everyday for feeding round bales. I have a JD 4040 for the baler now. I also have a ford3910 for the hay rake. Currently working on a farmall 130 for cutlivating.

I use it only in the summer to rake hay but I do still use my 1935 JD-B every summer. Other wise it sits in the shed. Shoot I don't have any tractor that I use day in day out

Not daily, but often a 1940 RC Allis Chalmers, very often one of two 1958 AC D-14s, and daily a 1970 Allis Chalmers 170. Also daily a 1965 830 Case.

1950 JD A

Not a daily user but still at work. Right now it is on the 10" 72' bin auger (yeah it works at this one). Most of the time it is hooked to the Standby Generator and at the local tractor show it rakes the straw stack with a front mount Pollard wheel rake.

1958 D17 for me as an almost daily used tractor. Also use a 1937 WC for spraying fence lines and pulling hay wagons but not a daily thing.

Shoot! I thought this was an antique tractor forum, I cut my yard with a 36 F12, cultivate with a 50 John Deere plow with a R and Model D 36 John Deere, Mow hay with a hand start 44B and number 5 mower, and this time of year I am discing hay fields for over seeding with a 10-20 McCormick Deering on full steel! Their is not a day that goes by that I do not have to work on something....and you called the old fella with the f12s excentric....hell I am nuts! But I know what I like.
