I need a differential (or whole transmission unit) for a Hyster QN-20. Does anyone know if QC-20 and/or QT-20 parts are the same and would anyone have this item for sale? I might buy a complete truck for parts. Thank you.

David, The engine and trans come out as a unit, after you unbolt the axles at the frame, and the lower mounts somewhere.... if I remember correctly, we had our V-4 wisconsin overhauled and she ran great for many years, cool old machine, wild looking with three wheels, we have 2 H-25's and an H-30 now and use them alot on the farm, we are also in the seed business, couldn't do it without them....Good luck, it's going to be work just getting it out, here's hoping for the best!

The only older Hyster is a QT, ... a few years ago, 25 or so ( hey time flies) we had to have a cluster gear in the transmission fabricated after a nationwide search turned up no new ones, the machinist made two of these and one went into our QN, and the other went on somebodys shelf for future use, sorry I don't know anymore than this at this time...
What is your machine doing , or not doing? ours had a thump in the reverse I think, bad tooth on cluster gear. Forklift place in Richmond, Indiana did our work.

Thanks Doug,
The forklift diff is locked up and the tires try to slip on a sharp turn. I fear there is a broken gear or something seized in the differential.
