I would replace that steel line with flex hose from Aeroquip or Alemite with the barbed swivel nuts. We used these for years. You can replace
the compression fittings at the sediment bowl and at the carburetor with new brass fittings that have pipe threads on one end and 45 degree flared
tubing thread on the other end. Hal

Get a piece of matching steel brake line (5/16"? or 3/8"?), then get the two special brass fittings with attached ferrules from the CNH dealer.

Cut the line to length, bend as needed, then slip the fittings over then ends, install it, and snug up the fitting at each end.

Can always make one, and it'd be much easier on the wallet. Hardware store should have all you need.

Easy and cheap way, take a two hose barb fittings that will fit your sediment bowl then the other that fits into the carb. Get the hose barb fitting in 3/8" which is the size fuel hose. Then get some 38/" fuel hose that should be a good size. Cut the hose for your length and then two hose claps and your done. I hardware store or a auto parts store should have everything you need.

If it runs very close to the engine heat you may not be able to use plastic or rubber, might have to use copper.

The original was steel, and most folks recommend steel line as the replacement. I am almost certain there will be no flaring involved, just the appropriate brass nuts with attached ferrules for each end.

The theory is that copper will "work harden" from flex and vibration and possibly crack, spilling gasoline.
