Hmmmm,

Guess this routine makes it kinda official; summers over fer sure.

Took half a day but got 'em all fed and bed. Me thinks the old cows were leg sore from standing in the storm all night 'cause they dropped like a bunch of prairie rocks. :>)

During the process, the darned bull ran me up the fence twice. I gotta get him out of there! :>(

Good to hear you got the tractor running right. Looks as cold there as it is here. Yeah. feeding cows does tie you to the place, but I would sure miss not having cows to feed.

I see hay burners as well... a four-wheeler gets you there at least twice as quickly and only eats when you're using it.

Yes Sir, that's the one.

Came within a hair's breath of giving that tractor away just to get it out of my sight. I was completely at my wit's end.

Rusty Farmall told me to check the load jet and at about the same time, I get a call from my "IH guru" telling me the same darn thing.

Ran out there like a chicken with it's head cut off and checked the thing. Sure enough, that was the problem. Totally wobbled out.

So anyway, at the end of the day, I put a new carburetor on it and another set of plugs and it hasn't even offered to blink since.

Really, really runs nice now.

Wish I had your view from inside the cab. I"m feedin" with a Ford 4610 with a canopy. When the wind blows, I have to climb into my insulated coveralls and bite on a stick to keep my teeth from chatterin"!

They sure don't look abused. BTW; there are too many friendly bulls in the world to put up with a bad one. I do know people that have been killed by a bull, so be care full.

Allan; Feller from back home,(NE) had a bull charge his pickup and busted out the grill. Smashed in the hood and then tried to climbe in the back
of the truck. Pickup is pretty well banged up.
And ya,be careful out there.
