Can anyone explain this? On the serial # for a Super C it should start with FSC. I just purchased what I believed was a Super C, but it starts with FC. The confusing thing is the actual # is 181737 which makes it a 1953 Super C, I think.

Jim: You have a 1953 Super C, They all started with FC, however C serial numbers are all 5 digit or less, SC serial numbers are all 6 digit.

Jim, I should have put that SC has disc brakes and bent back pedals where the C has band brakes and straight pedals. SC gas tank will set about 2 inches above the hydraulic unit where as the C gas tank sits almost directly on the gas tank.

I have 3 Super C's and all of them start with FC, so does the 2 C's I have here. Never seen one with FSC on it before.
