I have advertised quite a few items, and I will get a call on the item, the very first thing they say is"How much do you want" Now they either are just pricing, because they have one of the same model, or just are interested in the price for their own reason. I respond with "Dont you want to know anything about the tractor or item? There are hundreds of diffrent tractors in 100 different states of repair. If I have a guanteed cherry of a tractor, and price it for $800. more then the last piece of junk they looked at, they tell me to stick it. It is hard to tell who the buyer is on the phone, you might not even want to take cash, because when he gets it home he will diffently find something wrong and be on his phone complaining that I robbed him. Deal locally. There are all kinds of buyers and sellers. The same goes for landlords and tenants..usually the tenant gets heck, but there are some landlords that you would not want to rent from no matter what....just my .33 cents worth.

Until I know the price, I don't want to know anything else. I list the price when I'm selling because I don't want to waste a minute of my time (or theirs) if it's out of their price range.

Maybe they have yahoo email and dialup internet. It takes so long for me to check email,I don't even bother unless I am expecting to hear from somebody.

Do these ads have phone numbers? E-mails don't always go through and I have been swamped before by so many tire kickers that I have almost (but haven't) not returned an E-mail. Typing is not something that comes very natural to a lot of rural tractor selling people. Make sure If you are truly interested you don't start by picking the ad apart and working on the price site unseen. That'll turn off any seller but a desperate one.

And Allan is right on the mark too.

Slo,

Never been around one of those back buckets.

It would seem to me tho, that you will need more lift just to empty the bucket. I have to "shake" the darned thing to get that snow out when conditions are just right. It "packs" in there.

I would really "aggresively" proceed with the Kansas thing if I were you. Either that or the blower idea. But, I'm not running an airport neither.

Send me a Hydro 100 and I'll gladly ship your tractor home on the same darned trailer. :>)

Look at the prices first.

You'll notice that some of 'em aren't "really" for sale at all. :>)
