There is no reason why it shouldn't still be around that price with the exception of the greed of oil companies and opec. One can only hope they choke on their money for what they are doing to the average person in this country.
Its funny, I hear people talking about, oh its $5.00 or more in England, no offense meant to those in Englad, but this is not England. Its a crime when it costs almost a hundred bucks to fill your truck, that is if you only have one tank. It should be against the law for them to be doing this, yes high gas prices and diesel prices kinda set me off!

Some people should do some research and figure out just who is getting most of the money on a gallon of fuel, and why.

How can we blame the oil companies for the prices when the product is bought and sold on the stockmarket. How many heard about the investor who bid 100 per barrel on one contract so he could be on record for the historic price then sold it at a loss same day at a loss or such as i heard as was reported on the radio. We still speed buy big gizzling things and wonder why supply is high in demand

Hi Gene,

I seen one number at $100.69 for one future contract. Then a week latter another reported $101. and some change.

Sure it was just a "look at what I did" trade for both the buyer and seller.

Well, lets see Exxon mobile showing record profits is one pretty good reason. You talk about the big gizzling(guzzling) things, well I can't pull hay trailers with a 4 cylinder S-10. some of us have to work out here in the real world producing food and such for this ungratefull nation and these fuel prices are killing us. When it costs $150.00 to fuel your 4430 for a day of baling it should be criminal.

Did you ever hear of "Less is More"? Short the market, raise the price.
