The slave cylinder is out in my '94 F-250.

Is that pretty tough to replace? Does it take any special tools? Or just some elbow grease??

As many of those as I had replaced in my '92, I really figured they had that improved by the '94's. I guess they didn't.

Thanks for any advice,
HH

I don't know how it is on your '92.I had a '86 F150 and it was easy to change. It was mounted on the outside of the tranny and the rod ran through a hole in the housing.Fast forward ten years to my '96 F150.Slave cylinder goes bad, can't find it.Call my mechanic, find out it is inside the tranny.had to drop the tranny just to change. That's what I call progress!Right along with dropping the 300 6 cylinder after '96.Next truck might not be a Ford.
