Boy, I'm sure glad they the raised the limit on the wheat market. The cash market at the local elevator has dropped $1.10 since they did that and it has only been 2 days!!!! I didn't think they did it to help us.

If you follow the commodities market corn and wheat are in short supply so the prices for both should be up just like fertilizer. They can't mine it fast enough to satisfy the world demand. There is a big supplier up in N. Sask...Canada and I have been reading their reports about supply and demand.

Going to be an expensive spring if you are going to plant a crop.

Something screwy around here ,, Had some left over cover crop Wheat on hand, loaded it on pickup ,Took it to Louiville on Monday..... Without a test, The guy turned it down , Said that we had garlic in it ,, And Besides ,Ins crud .wouldnt allow us to shovel off 40 bu , of Wheat.. I don't think they are hungry enough Yet , Especially the INSURANCE PEOPLE

Hi C-man,

They did that so screw up the grain charts so they can move the price is wide swings thus capture more profit from the weak longs.

The grain charts have seen a great increase in volotility since 01/01/08. It sure looks like a huge top bubble has formed. There's about 4 times the average volume in the grains right now.

Must be a livestock feeder. 2 years ago corn was at $1.50 who was making a windfall profit then. Every dog has his day.
