This is one of those topics that can really stir the pot and cause trouble I suppose, due to that and the rules here, I just keep my distance for the most part and stay out of it. It's kind of nice to be able to discuss something like this though, without any nonsense, but always seems to happen eventually. When people ask here or you know a prayer, a supporting thought, or some kind words is really a nice thing to do to be of help, it's just the same if you keep to yourself about it or are more vocal like many are here when someone else is dealing with a difficult situation after seeing the many posts here. It's the genuinely true thoughts, prayers, rememberence and care that really counts, be it anonymous or known. These kind of unselfish manners were always taught to most of us, a prayer, kind thought or doing a good deed is just part of a respectable set of values to hold true in life regardless of the label on ones faith, at least it's what I always thought, same thing should be true when discussing matters like these, I never understood the disagreements that happen over religion, and will leave it at that. Aside from this, I have always wondered a bit about life in general, you live, learn, at some point you become very knowledgable through age and experience, you go through all kinds of things, childhood, adolescence, problems, challenges, all the way until you are or feel like the ancient wise satyr on the hill LOL !! I've always thought if you lived by good ethics and morals in addition to lifes experiences, each person accumulates so much in non material areas and accomplishes so many things in life, no matter what, big or small, it's important, and when you look back it's seemingly quite amazing. Then when the time comes and in death after all of the above, are you still just a biological mass that goes in the dirt and that's it ? Almost seems like a waste if that were true. Well, according to most if not all faiths and religions, it should not be like that. I've often wondered what the native indians believed as well, mostly out of curiosity but with respect just like for all faiths, just to compare the what and why, for no other reason but to learn something different I suppose. It seems to be a hard thing to grasp, cause no one really comes back and tells you about what happens, so your faith is what keeps it real, I think everyone wonders or even questions it, and that is normal human nature. It's nice to learn about things that offer or provide some reassurance on that question as to what happens after you're done fooling with tractors, and yes, make sure to kick it out of gear if you can, although that may not be possible for everyone, kind of a humorous thought in some respects.
