just for a change of pace. Did any one see any of the mutilated animals back in the 70"s. Bil showed me 7 yearling hiefers at toe of the big horns, they were strung out for maybe 50 yards, they were one half to three quaters of a mile off a road and out of sightof same, the lips, anus, vagina and teats were cut off.in my life i have seen thousands of dead animals, yes thousands and this was not done by an animal or joe sixpack with a dull knife.bil said mile and a half up the mountain ther were 8 more hiefers the same condition. mighty interesting

Well if the cattle mutilations occurred during the 60"s, and 70"s wasn"t Don Rumsfeld in some administration position then? Maybe he suspected cattle of terrorism, and was trying out new interrogation techniques!!!! Har har har har har..... Not meant to be political-just a stupid joke. lol

Change of pace can be good. We had a couple cases of cattle mutilation in Wis. back then, if memory is correct. Strange things happen; what can you say? These things go into same category as the Devil's Triangle, Atlantis, Roswell Incident and so on. Sasquatch? Who knows?

Kinda strange....usually when a stranger comes aruond someones cattle they dont like it. They split. Especially when they are free ranged.

I had a cow come up missing after I got out of the hospital. Saturday the insurance guy called said that my Policy would cover the cow if it was stolen or wandered off but not if it just came up missing. I told him that it was not on the property and I pretty sure that Aliens didn't take.. He laughed and said OK they would cover it..
Walt

PS best thing I ever did was take out that policy on my cows has paid off twice in the last two years.

My great uncle was the first one to have a bull mutilated in Weld County that was in the mid 70's. The sheriff thinks that whoever did either used helicopter or did it during a thuderstorm they had the day before he found it.

I was out in yard just after dark and watched 3 helicoters flyimg from NE to SW. Following day Governer R said "there were no military helicopters flying". Helcopters were out most every night.

Cattle mutilations have been reported around for years; it"s one of those things that "officially" don"t happen, or are satan-worshipers, yada-yada-pat-pat-pat on the head, go home and don"t pay any attention to the man (men?) behind the curtain.
Try Linda Moulton Howe"s site (earthfiles.com?), or check your local video place for her mutilation video--fascinating!!
