Thinking soon of using foam in my front tractor tires. My tractor is of general size and a Case 300 series. So do I get the foam from an auto supply are where for to go for this being done? How many cans would it take for one tire to do?? Any help on this is apperiated.

How about just adding a little Slime? Seals punctures, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, changing a tire is no hassle and it's readily available.

If you feel that you need foam in your tires, go for it. Sometimes it`s the only solution to tires which are perpetually flat and the trouble that might be encountered at dismount time is usually worth it. I`ve got foamed tires and I`ll do it again.

BTW, as others have said, the foam is not the type that comes in a can, I believe that it`s urethane foam vs the polyisocyanurate used for insulating, which will crush down fairly rapidly.

Larry I see you lived through yesterday. LOL. As far as foam in your tires its costly and you would want new tires when/if you do it. You can not do it your self and once done and something happen that you need to replace a tire you will also have to replace the rim because theres almost no way to take the tire off the rim after its been filled with foam

customer bought a big payloader w/ all 4 tires foam filled. he put his crew on it for 3 days and they partialy got 1 tire off. I eyeballed the job and said 7 hrs to get the 4 tires off and 2 hrs to put the new ones on. Job ended up taking jes short of 10 hrs. charged 1000 bucks and he was happy. I burned up 2 sawzalls and earned my money on that job....

An ag or commercial tire service center has to install the foam. It goes in as a liquid and foams once in the tire and then sets up.It would pay to put it in new or very good tire, once in it"s a real PITA to change the tire. The tire will have to be cut off of the rim. Runs about $70-$100 per tire depending on the size.

Sounds like "air" might be a more reasonably priced alternative. . .
