Take the hood off. Wash everything squeaky clean. When dry spray with aerosol flour. It will show seeps. If nothing seeps, crank it but don't let it start. If nothing shows, run it a second or two. By then something should show in the flour.

Can't you have someone observe whilst you operate, even if you have to remove the bonnet.

Check your hydralic fluid. See if it's low. If not you know to check other places. If low put some in it and start it up and check for leaks then. Might be so low now that it is not showing and you might burn something up like a pump. If you have power steering on it. Check that to!

i dont know anything about mahindra tractors but if youre going to look for it, do not feel for it with your hand. use cardboard and safety glasses if you get injected with pressurized oil go to the doctor immediately and get it surgically removed. you will get gangrene if you dont. with that said more than likely it is a blown gasket, o-ring, bad hose. just look for it carefully

If you have power steering, check that...you may have an O-ring leaking at the resevoir...shrps74
