I used the front end loader to flip mine over, change blades, tighten gearbox to deck bolts etc., I can set it so the filler plug is a drain when upside down, at the lowest point, just found an old lifting eye/tie down from a '55 ford truck that was made into a trailer, will weld same in appropriate place on deck to make an easy pick point. If no loader, just vacuum/suction it out like Allan said, maybe flush, repeat, did mine last year, it sat upside down for awhile as I did all the repairs it needed. If using an electric drill type pump, remember not to pump anything flammable, if flushing, I like flipping mine over and draining, next time will do after mowing. Considering that they sit 1/2 the year, condensation accumulates, and the work that gearbox does along with all the shock loads, it's a good preventative maintenance thing, mine calls for a 00 or 0 lube that I can't get in small quantity, so I used lucas 90 wt, check your book to see what is called for, also check to see of the outer gearbox shaft seal is leaking when turned over, suspect mine might be, little maintenance goes a long way on these mowers there is not much too em, and they do a ton of work.
