About a week ago I show y'all a picture of the DuraScap Lift.Well, I want to use it for outdoor things on a farm, so those skinny solid-rubber tires just won't cut it. Now those are 8-bolt rims so there's some weight there I'm thinking, and we found out that the front tires on the truck (7.50-16LT) will fit. But for added stability and reduced compaction I'm thinking I want to use a dual wheel adapter to put 4 tires on it. More tread on the ground might help a little with that low 5-degree tip thing too. Do y'all think that would work? I've never worked with dual adapters before--maybe theres a more economical solution. Also I don't see an emergency release on this lift - if you get stuck up in the air I expect it would be a nerve-racing experience to shimmy down a 26-foot steel boom. The bucket truck has a release valve that will let it down, this lift does not. What would be a good solution for that? Thanks for the ideas.
