check this out , new air hybrid engine, has a paired piston to pump aditional air, up to 100 :1 compression, no need for turbo's or superchargers. be great if it works

Piston/crank layout shown sort of like pre-war Zoller split single/paired twin. McCulloc(sic?) had something similar with a sort of flat twin- one piston was air transfer only and conterbalance. A marine compound engine with similar offset paired pistons shown on boat forum couple years back- was pollution cleanup of outboard engine study. Interesting- compare against Detroit 2 cycle, paired piston used instead of positive displacement blower. RN .

That is different than the six cycle engine they talked about on the Speed channel a few weeks ago. The six cycle would not have extra pistons for more parts to replace. The six cycle fires every third time the piston comes up.
Both seems like ideas to watch.
