Can't tell the difference between a TO35 and a TE20

I am looking at a Ferguson tractor and all the tags have been taken off of it. It is a diesel, 4 cyl - so I am guessing it is either a TO35 or a TE20. Is there a way to be for sure which model it is?
Thanks!

TO35 diesels were 4 cylinder Standard Motors engines. They weren't very reliable, and are costly to repair and maintain. We have one on the yard right now for service. MF35 diesels used 3 cylinder Perkins. Probably one of the best diesel engines ever built.

Weren't any 4 cylinder diesels used in O tractors, only in the TE. The diesel is by Standard. American (O) tractors used 3 cyinder Perkins diesels.

For a starter, check and see if it has a 4 speed tranny or a three speed tranny with a high and low range. If it has a 4 speed tranny, it's either a "20" or a "30", if a 3 speed with a hi&lo, it's a "35". Mr Bob

Makes sense to me Mr Bob,but Im not really sure. That 4 cylinder must have been a clunker, never heard a good word about it.
