Just heard an alarming way to get your head around just how much 800+ billion dollars is: If we had spent a MILLION DOLLARS A DAY since the day Christ was born, it would still be less than the Porkulus program. I did the math, and that comes to $733,000,000,000.

I think I'm gonna be sick. . .

Uh , Bamarama already screwing it up . You been in a cave the last month? Tax Dodgers apointed to cabinet posts , his bipartisan approach failed and his public statement , "I screwed Up !" Do you hear just what you want to or nothing at all? I loved it when a week into his presidency he announced that he would need more than four years . I'm fascinated by the possibility that everyone voting will fall for it again in four years.Iran is building an atomic bomb. Bama gonna invite them for a tea party.I'm still waiting on their miracle cure for the war.

show us where you are getting your numbers from, how did Rummy lose so much before 9/11? So we are supposed to believe that between 1/20/01 and 9/11/01 Rummy lost 2.4 trillion. Now I know what you are smoking. that statistic is as fake as the rest of the nonsense you peddle.

I was thinking, just cause it passed, doesn't the appropriations committee have to appropriate the $$'s? Maybe they can do some finigglin to stop some of this crap... If the damned Acorn bunch get so much as a penny, then I'll be danged but what some of my farm income is gonna dissappear !!!!! !!!

Would make it kinda hard to put food on the table, but maybe the solution is inflation; BIG INFLATION, as in Zimbabwe where it's supposedly 1,000,000 per cent; pay the loans (which we're accumulating) with dollars which are worth only..... ...well, I can't figure out what fraction of a cent a dollar would be worth. I think this makes as much sense as what's coming out of Washington.

at school they told us in germany after WWI inflation was so high the mark was worth more baled for waste paper then it was as a mark.

The Germans owed 120,000,000,000 deutch marks to the allies for war reparations. The Germans made the currency worthless to make the 120 billion look like nothing.

Are you just talking about the second 800 billion package? What about the around 2 trillion the feds have pumped into the banking system already.
So about 2.8 trillion for the banks and 800 bill mostly for the citizens. Seems about right.

That same statistic could also be applied to the cost of the Iraq war. Around a trillion now with at least another trillion to be spent on equip repairs and wounded troops. If it ended tomorrow.

I heard that statistic too. Million a day since 0-AD, plus another 70 yrs to get to the total $$$. Where are they getting that kindof money? Printing it? Borrowing from the Chinese? Better gather up some guns, plenty of ammo, couple thousand gallons of fuel, some equipment you can work on yourself, few hogs, chickens, milk cow... I went and looked at a pull behind combine yesterday. Hate to be an allarmist, but I think we're in for a NASTY bumpy ride. Obummer has us in a handbasket headed down on an express elevator.

I never said anything about Bush being this or that. Yea, I voted for him, twice. Unfortunately, anymore, it comes down to a choice of the lesser of two evils.
But I think Obummer giving away hundreds of billions of dollars that we don't have, or have a way of earning is gonna do a whole lot more damage than good. I DIDN"T vote for him.

Uh , McCain was different my friend . Are you blind and deaf ? I don't believe Sen. McCain has any friends named Rahm and there are other noteworthy differences including honesty and experience . What we have is someone who has no idea what to do ' surrounded by people who think they know maybe what to do , and all of them trying to convince everyone that they are not clueless.They did do 0ne good thing which was to end Billary to China . I now hear however that she has somehow been allowed back in the Country. So that did not work either.
