I see Miss America, runner up, is not welcome here either.

We must all be tolerant of all opinions.

Right?

You's gots to kep things tractor/farm machine related. There are folks here that have no other interests and can't understand anything unless they put their mind in that gear. In this case they shifted into tractor gear by opening the tractor talk site. If you say something that doesn't have the word tractor in it, they get all confused and flustered, and POOF!!!!

Want to talk about gay marriage, you's got to relate it so's they can understand. Talk about hydraulic quick disconnect fittings on a tractor and log splitter (got all the major topics covered), now try plugging a male connecter into a male connecter and try plugging a female connecter into a female connecter. IT JUST DON'T WORK CAUSE IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE!!!!

That'll keep the one trackers busy awhile trying to come up with an argument. May even wake up the preacher.

Dave

I don't give a good tin rat's derriere about Miss America, Miss USA or the like, not since high school. The media make a big deal but I could care less. What I care about is a good John Deere Diesel.

"During the pageant, Hilton asked Prejean if every state should follow Vermont in legalizing same s@x marriage.

Prejean responded. "But in my country, and in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

Hilton, who also appeared on the "Today" show Tuesday, said his question was relevant and that Prejean should have "left her politics and her religion out because Miss USA represents all Americans."

Seems to me, if you ask a political question, you're going to get a political answer.

Nice ear rings! Don't know if she would have won but, the guy must have been paided off to make sure she did not. Free thoughts and speech are kept in the closet for fear of offending the nonthinkers.

I'd say most are tolerant, as long as it has something to do with tractors. The off topic junk just needs a home elsewhere. Some just aren't getting the hint.

I only saw the next day interviews, not the show, but IMO that question should not have been asked of the contestant. Entirely too controversial a question. The judge who asked it was obviously trying to make a statement, not ask a fair question.
